Course Details
Self-Directed Study: Students design projects with support of a YVHS staff mentor
CCL opportunities: Students earn credit through internships or work study
Senior Capstone Course: Students prepare to transition out of high school with personal finance lessons, college/training program applications or career planning, and development of a capstone presentation connected to the four YVHS graduate profile proficiencies
CASEL: Students engage in Individualized Career and Academic Planning (ICAP) activities and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons (ICAP/SEL course)
Advisory: Students participate in community building activities such as Connection Circles, All School Meetings, and school projects to enhance our physical and social community. Students access opportunities to work one on one with teachers for additional academic support. (ICAP/SEL course)
